...In our elected representation?




Unlike Mr. Stoffa who brought us STOFFA-GIFT, we want honesty, truthfulness, trustworthiness. Integrity also comes to mind. You know...someone that won't steal, cheat of lie!



We desire to elect a person who is caring, compassionate, and benevolent. And who understands that Civic Duty encompasses abiding by all governing laws and rules of the land.



He/She will possess unspeakable courage to do what is right always. They will be willing to sacrifice when sacrifice is necessary without complaint or collapse.



He/She will maintain their self-control, always remaining calm and rational, even under conditions of temptation, stress. Understanding that self-respect is the root of discipline:  The sense of dignity grows with the ability to say no to oneself. 



He/She will be fair and just, applying all rules, regulations and laws equitably.

He/She will be cooperative, willing to get along with others, and committed to the concepts of neighborhood, society, and country.





The ideal candidate will keep his/her promises, and will be diligent and persevering.




He/She will take ownership of their own errors, be accountable, dependable and amenable. Considers consequences and accepts responsibility for their actions or lack of action...

...Just to name a few qualities we're looking for...Do we know anyone with these qualities? YES...

Our First Choice...

...For County Executive is Lamont McClure!

When we say first, let it be understood that we feel that all three democrats running for the office of County Executive bring something unique to the table, however, only one stood alone on the Gracedale sale issue...And that was Lamont McClure. No one can argue that point!

When the time comes to Vote, remember that none other fought for Gracedale like Mr. McClure did. He stood firmly on the rock of truth. He presented facts that could not be disputed. He was mocked and he was ridiculed, but he took the punishment that came his way. He didn't complain, and he didn't collapse. He served us well.

The foes of the County would have you believe that Mr. McClure has a terrible committee attendance record, but that just isn't true. Because of his work responsibilities, he attends (just like us) many of the committee meetings on-line (they just don't take attendance on line), and when he attends the Council meetings, he is prepared with questions that make sense based on his on-line attendance. 

How do we know that? Because while we do not physically attend all committee meetings either (we attend on-line as well), we do attend council meetings regularly (our record is excellent), and we have witnessed Mr. McClure first hand (during Council meetings) represent us over and over again.

Mr. McClure promises to:

• Maintain and Provide for the Future of Gracedale
• Preserving and Protecting Open Space and Environmentally Sensitive Land
• Investing in Economic Development so we continue to enhance and improve the quality of life in Northampton County.

Jesus also makes us aware that the world will hate us just as it does Him. This is precisely why Jesus exhorts his would-be followers to first count the cost. For anyone who is unprepared or unwilling to bear a cross and follow Christ, (whose path to glory went via Calvary) simply cannot be his disciple (Luke 14:25-33). I will gladly suffer your persecution because Jesus first suffered for me...and for you too Bernie! 



But are you being persecuted...
...like I was?



He also tells us that just because persecution is inevitable doesn’t mean it is acceptable. Persecution in the eyes of God is wicked. It involves harassment, oppression, cruelty, betrayal, dictatorship, violence, injustice, all that is contrary to God’s law of love (Matt 22:36-40).

Do you know Bernie that persecution is a vile sin of profound spiritual rebellion for which persecutors will one day have to account for?

The question remains though: how can victims of persecution be “blessed”? Well firstly, those who are persecuted for Christ’s sake are NOT victims. Isn't that awesome Bernie? God does not allow me to be your victim!

Get this Bernie, avoiding persecution is the easiest thing in the world to do — just deny Christ!

But  trust me when I tell you - nothing sorts out true disciples of Christ from false ones like persecution.

Please pray for us!

Through persecution the church is sifted (Isaiah 30:28), refined (Isaiah 48:10), winnowed (Matt 3:12). Those who consent to suffer persecution rather than avoid it are those who, in love and trust, choose faithfulness over temporal self-preservation — thus proving their faith.

Those who are persecuted for Christ’s sake are blessed on account of their spiritual reality: that regardless of circumstances we have a king who loves us with an everlasting love (Romans 8:31-39); a king who hears our prayers (Psalm 116:1-2); who never leaves us (Matt 28:20b), who can be trusted (Psalm 117:1-2), and who has already brought us into a kingdom that cannot be shaken (Isaiah 26:1-3) — unlike the world which is, even now, passing away under judgment (Hebrews 12:27-29).

Independant Offices...

...Are just that - independent.

Why are the DA's office and the office of the Controller "independent" in accordance to the Home Rule Charter? Because they serve as checks and balances for the taxpayers.

The MCall has published a story about turf wars between the executive office and the DA's office, well, certainly they are entitled to their opinion, but in ours, this current event is not about turf...but about right and wrong.

In other developing news: by some insane thought process known only by the nonsensical ignoramus, Bernie thinks its ALL about Lamont McClure. That's like saying 10+10=5. Yeah right!

Bernie is just trying to take our (the County's taxpayers) focus off of his corrupt man John Stoffa. So what does he do? He blames John Stoffa's ignorance on Mr. McClure. Yes that right 10+10=5.

Somebody, please give him a calculator!

...is being thrown into a mess that the failing County Executive John Soffa created, in hopes that Mr. McClure can save Mr. Stoffa. Well Mr. McClure is not the County Executive YET!!! And if he was, the first thing he would probably do (and this is just our opinion) is, FIRE Stoffa.

John Stoffa is such a disgrace to the democratic party...that even the party can't wait for his departure...however it may com.

An Answer To Your Question?

The question posed by a reader today was "What Is STOFFA-GIFT?"

The answer is very involved, however, we'll do the best we can to present  a short version.

Stoffa informing the County that
Gracedale would be closed if not sold!

In 2010, We (COAF) set out to give the people of the County of Northampton an opportunity to vote on a matter "the sale of Gracedale". The County Council at the time refused to put a question on the ballot to allow the taxpayers an opportunity to vote on the matter. So COAF decided (inspired by John Stoffa) to initiate first, an informal petition producing over 4k names, and then a formal petition producing 23,391 names.

Although Mr. Stoffa encouraged us to get the signatures, he then went on to sue the taxpayers with taxpayer resources.

The Morning Call asked the question: "Did Taxpayers Fund The Gracedale Fight?"

Then we wrote a post indicating that John Stoffa admitted his gilt by agreeing to pay-back $700.00 for two hours we could prove, and after our post he realized his error and decided to call  the payback of the misused funds a gift. Click the link to read more: Gulty, Gulity, Gilty.

DA Moganelli Sues Stoffa

John Stoffa - Arrogance breeds corruption!

We have been saying for a long time that John Stoffa's arrogance will catch up with him, and then trip him.

How irrational is it to get into a fight with the DA when the people have been begging for an investigation into STOFFA-GIFT.

Sotffa has the audacity to say that the Honorable Mr. Morganelli thinks he can do what ever he wants to, when in fact it is John Stoffa who thinks he can do whatever he wants to.

He misused tax resources, and while we can prove 2 hours worth, we're certain that a full investigation by the proper authority will discover probably 30 or 40 hours.

Bernie of course is removing any hints of it on his blog, but that's okay...we won't on this blog!

We will wait patiently as we have been doing for so long. STOFFA has begun to crumble, just as we predicted he would.

A Letter To The Populace

As a true Christian, Jesus commands me to love everyone as I love Him, even my enemies. And that's why I prayed for Bernie. But never in my wildest dreams could I imagined that he would run-amuck like he recently did because of a simple prayer. In his moment of madness he first insinuates that I and COAF  are anti-Semites, now on his blog he says it out right, which certainly is the farthest thing from the truth.

Again, I must reflect back on my Christian values and morals. God calls on Christians to bless and protect Israel and the Jewish community. Why? Because they are the apple of Gods eye. I obey God without hesitation, and for that too O'Hare criticizes me.

Now he’s threatening to tell the Lebanese community what COAF and I are allowing on our blog against them, a comment that someone else made, possibly Bernie himself under anonymous cover (we believe that is the case, hence the reason we enabled comment moderation on the blog).

Speaking for myself, I would like to establish the fact that outside of our known struggle with Stoffa, Angle, and O'Hare, I haven't said anything about anyone! And I am not aware that any other member of COAF has either.

So why is he making this up? Possibly because he actually has some mental delusions. Please note that I am not mocking Bernie. Consider what we know about him - The Pennsylvania Supreme Court disbarred him for "dishonesty, fraud, deceit, misrepresentation, unauthorized activity, forgery, cover up, conduct that is prejudicial to the administration of justice, illegal conduct, and moral turpitude. Moral turpitude is a legal concept in the United States that refers to "conduct that is considered contrary to community standards of justice, honesty or good morals.  Do we really need to know more? I don't think so.

Having said that, it is important to understand that Bernie is desperate right now because he finds himself in a situation like none before - Challenged by ordinary people who fear him not.

Bernie has both, libeled and slandered me, as well as COAF. Asking him to stop does not seem to work, but a day of reckoning will most certainly come.

Please know that COAF wants the Save Gracedale Blog to be reader-friendly. But we can’t be expected to control the thoughts of our readers, or the comments that they post. That would be censorship, wouldn’t it? And we can't be expected to catch every instance someone like Bernie slants the truth on our blog, can we? If so, we can only say that expectation is too great!

People like Bernie have nothing better to do with their time, so they have plenty of it to take advantage and post slants which distort the truth, and pits brother against brother, and sister against sister.

Before COAF, Bernie was accustomed to getting his way by terrorizing the populace on his blog, to include anybody and everybody. Now he's angry because COAF does not fear him, and we really don't care what lies his tells about us, because they are just that - LIES. His record speaks for itself.

Lastly, know that neither I, nor the Coalition are going after Mr. Stoffa the way Bernie is going after us - There really is no comparison. We are merely holding Mr. Stoffa accountable for his erroneous actions.

In our opinion, Mr. Stoffa is an elected official, and it is our constitutional right to hold him accountable. Bernie on the other hand is like a rabid dog being let loose on those who question Stoffa...and that is simply wrong!

I will continue to pray for Bernie, only this time silently, between me and Jesus.
