What is surprising is that he has been representing the people of his district for so long.
Township Inspector Tells Judge He Gave Money To Angle
An Upper Mount Bethel Township road employee yesterday explained that he gave Supervisor Ron Angle $345 of the $870 he received from the township for inspecting driveways in 1987.
William H. Godschalk said he made the payments because Angle told him other supervisors knew of the arrangement, but later found out they did not.
Vote for Parsons... he's humble and for real!

Does this mean that Angle lied his way to and for a monetary kickback as an elected official?
ReplyDeleteIf so, he is a crook.
Has this story been around for a long time?
You "goons" don't realize that Ron was trying to help that guy. This is another attempt to make him look bad. Ron is a decent law abiding citizen that only has the best intentions. The Morning Call had it all wrong. It was a misprint. It was a slow newsday.
ReplyDeleteQuit picking on him.

ReplyDeleteScott Parsons he is honest, humble, and ready to do a good job. Scott will be a good person for district 4.
ReplyDeleteI like the billboard idea in UMB so that Angle's gifts to NORCO and its people could be highlighted.

Bangor dentist awarded $1.3 million after suing Northampton County Councilman Ron Angle for undermining a land deal now seeks an additional $458,000 in lost interest.
Palmer Cotturo's attorneys argue in a petition filed today that Cotturo is owed 6 percent interest that began accruing in October 2005 on the money lost due to Angle's sabotage of a development deal, according to court papers.
Cotturo was awarded $1.3 million last week by retired Philadelphia Judge John L. Braxton. Cotturo's suit stemmed from a series of land deals he entered with Angle nearly 10 years ago. A developer in 2005 ended its pursuit of the Upper Mount Bethel Township property, scuttling Cotturo's chances at turning a large profit, according to the suit.
The interest would swell Cotturo's award to just north of $1.7 million.
