Angle Does Not Get It!

He (Angle) is in the papers virtually every day singing the same song, and dancing the same dance. Why? because he really does not understand that COAF has accomplished our mission, now it's up to CC and the executive administration to accomplish theirs.

Despite what has been rumored about COAF, our desire was never to do CC's job, but to exercise our right to vote on the Gracedale Initiative, and we succeeded to that end.

Mr. Angle needs to comprehend that he is no longer president. It is not his place to establish committee's or attempt to muster involvement from anyone without direct permission from the President and CC. If an advisory committee is in fact established by CC President - Mr Cusick, and he request our involvement in such a committee, we will be honored to partake in such an effort, but we will not be part of a rogue councilperson schemes.

If Mr. Angle really wants to work with the Coalition to resolve the Gracedale dilemma, he should convince the sitting President to appoint him chair of such a committee, and then following proper protocol request our involvement, perhaps then another miracle will occur. Good luck with such an appointment, and remember that over the last year we have demonstrated that The People are not fools - we know exactly what you're up to.

  2. Thank the arbitrators. If the county didn't give it to them then the county would have been faced with huge legal expenses and fines secondary to a law suit. Better negotioations needed before contracts are signed

  3. Angle is being given a huge amount of free publisity by the Express-Times and just in time to help his campaining. Do you think the voters are going to forget how outspoken he was in regards to favoring the sale of Gracedale? He used every mean=spirited technique he could to stop the referendum from being on the ballot. He tried to scare voters with an unrealistic tax hike, he called the COAF members radicals and other derogatory names. He'll stop at nothing to get his way. NOW HE WANTS TO B E THE GOOD GUY. No way-too late- you'll be gone in Nov.
Everyone thinks Gilbert is a good choice---just wait and see. A man who speaks a thousand words and says nothing of importance.

  4. Please do not engage this Angle person or his "Secretary of Offensive". I noticed one of your group commenting on the "Secretary of Offensive's" blog. Much to my dismay. I said it before and I will reiterate. IN TWO YEARS ANGLE WOULD BEGIN THIS PROCESS AGAIN. As allowed by the county HRC. He is approaching you for campaign brownie points, and cannot be trusted to perform due diligence with Gracedale. If you associate with him, he along with Stoffa will set this "roadmap" up for failure. YOU wll be blamed. STAY AWAY. He is the devil incarnate. The proof is in the manner of which the 'Secretary of Offensive " is perpetuating the petty fight of an already lost war for the saving of Gracedale.
MARK MY WORDS THEY ARE EVIL.

  5. Why is Stoffa rewarding one of the most pro-sale of Gracedale council people with an 80K year job ? Does he need one ?

  6. YES. Gilbert left a good banking position to pursue a financial advisory position. Allegidly he was terminated in short order. He was a staunch Stoffs/Angle supporter regarding the sale of Gracedale so of couse they would support him now regardless of his ability to handle such an important position. And we wonder why NORC has problems!

  7. Gilbert's Master's Degree is from a dubious for-profit university.

  8. Dubious as in "fake"?

  9. Stoffa has always put people in cabinet positions based on their ability to do exactly as Stoffa says. He has never been concerned about experience or competence. We all know the mess made by his Human Service Director over Gracedale issues.
Some say he was just following orders but if he understood the Human Service field, even he would have had some questions.

Apparently Gilbert is desperate for a job and this has been in the works since before Mazziotti left. He will do and say whatever Stoffa wants. So don't hold your breath for anything helpful. This fellow didn't even know how much real estate tax the county takes in. Now he will head up the financial office.

Just keep praying. Remember Stoffa is gone as of January 2014. We need to hold on.

  10. Another Stoffa-Angle "Yes-Man"?

  11. Another Stoffa/Angle yes-man for sure. Can't believe a thing Gilert says. He is NOT a man of his word. He had nothing to say at last council meeting which was refreshing.
Anyone see Conklin around lately? He seems to have faded into the woodwork. He's not been at any council meetings lately which seems strange. Hope the guy is OK.

  12. Point well taken Winston. Sometimes you hold out hope for a person's higher nature in the end to be disappointed.

  13. We are about to get a highschool football star as the money man for the County.
As for any type of talent, he certainly has
PROVIDED NOTHING TO DATE AS A COUNCILMAN.
Although, he does and votes anyway that Angle and Stoffa want.
I heard that he was in line for this job even before Vic made his retirement public.
If that doesn't say it all, nothing does!

  14. The ET seems to love to run to Angle for comments about everything, so that makes him very credible, right?
