Get to Know Scott Parsons

Good day Folks!  Please take note of the Letter to the Editor of The Express-Times in today's edition from Scott Parsons

Scott has a long history of service to the Slate Belt.  He has been Councilman in Pen Argyl for about nine years and is well known and respected by the residents of that community.

Scott is now running for Northampton County Council.  We believe he would give to his constituents and to Northampton County as a whole the best representation possible.

We urge you to learn more about him personally and his candidacy.  Every vote counts!

  1. Just read the article iwill surely vote for this candidate because here in the belt most of us know eachother, we know what angle is about and we know what parsons is about. Thank you Scott for standing up for us, and for having the courage to runn against angle.

  2. Mr. Angle is funny. He rams a pro-Geo law through the county and three days later accepts a $3,000.00 contribution. Now, he claims he was never for the illegal immigrant prison in Upper Mt. Bethel. He tried very hard for more than a year to sell abandon Gracedale and sell it to a for profit corporation. Now, he claims to be looking under every rock to find money for Gracedale.

  3. The only thing Angle will find under a rock will be a picture of him with BO!

  4. Scott Parsons will be a welcome change to County Council. He knows the Slate Belt . He also can conduct himself in a civilized manner. We wish you well Scott!!!

    you're stinkin' up the joint

  7. I thought he took the money first from GEO

Maybe our esteemed antagonist Ohare can shed light on the timeline of the miscreants machination as it relates to this sticky wicket

  8. As it appears the odiferous Inspector Clouseau Bi-County man of mystery and intrigue graces this blog on occassion. I pose some questions.

Did you think the people and supporters associated with this cause would disband and go their seperate ways after the Gracedale issue?

Answer, no it has empowered us, it has shown us there is more to do, there is more that WILL be accomplished.

Did you think they would support Angle as a candidate after all the things that transpired?

Answer, no as Ron will at the earliest opportunity begin the Gracedale sale again if he is allowed to remain in office. Also of note, no one knows what the irrepressible Ronnie will do next, to benefit himself via his office.

YOU with Rons blessing and to a lesser extent "publicly" Ron himself made it impossible to work in harmony. This will be resolved in November. When it will no longer be necessary to include a variable factor such as Ron into the equation of cooperation with council.

YOUR relentless insipid commentary daily directed at all of the members and supporters with the tacit approval of
"I don't do no computers" Angle.
Is the reason Ron WILL lose his re-election bid.

Advice Ohare; keep up this line of degrading childish rhetoric, and WHEN Ron loses in the fall YOU will be held responsible for the loss in his eyes.

  9. Will the Coalition be contacting every voter from Region 4 that signed the petition to save Gracedale ? Reminding them that Mr. Angle tried to sell it out from under them for a year.

  10. The voters in region 4 were EAGER to sign the petition . They are informed and won't forget the shame that Angle has brought to them and to Northampton County. Multiple times they stated it was time for him to go. If he cant keep his personal life in order how can he help the county!

  11. BO is quick to call others liars. He twists the truth so often that even he can't untagle his stories at times. He sees things that others dont, hears things that others don't, accuses people of posting on his blog when they don't. I guess he just does and says whatever he thinks will hold his readers interest. Most read his blog for comic relief....if they want facts they go elsewhere.

  12. Breaking News. Mr. Angle wanted the Director of Fiscal Affairs position. Mr. Stoffa decided Mr. Gilbert was the better person for the job.

  13. It seems Angles' luck has run out.
Why don't we make a list of his accomplishments of late.
I heard his cows won't let him milk them anymore because he has cold dirty hands.

  14. Where is Angles uncle that died at Gracedale. I heard he is still at Gracedale.

  16. Please leave Jimmy out of this. May his soul rest wherever he is.

  17. May Jimmy rest in peace. I saw coaf members spending time with him in the snack shop. I never saw Angle spend any time with him. Jimmy seemed to be a decent man. God have mercy on his soul.

  18. I read with dismay that a black nurse who works at Gracedale is suing Gracedale because a visitor called her the N word and after she complained to the supervisor her working conditions have been less than perfect. Get a grip lady! What did you want Gracedale to do? String the visitor up by the toes in the courtyard? I'd love to see this nurse's evaluations. Bet they aren't a-plus. Can you imagine what she would do if she became the object of BO's verbal insults!
Hope she never gets a dime of my tax dollars.

  19. I read this as well and won't pass judgement as the all the facts are not known. I will say that my interpretation was, (and maybe I'm wrong), that the complaint was about a patient using derogatory comments towards her. If that is the case I would hope that as bad as those words may be, she would know some of the patients are not of sound mind and express themselves openly with statements that otherwise might be repressed . Of course "Team Ohare" will grasp at any and all contoversial events surrounding Gracedale in his lame attempt to marginalize the facility . This even in the face of defeat.

  20. My concern is Stoffa's inaction regarding his unwillingness to meet with the unions. If he does not allow them to give back to the county some of their benefits what is this saying? To me it says that this is just another way of setting Gracedale up to fail. Mr. Winston. I agree with many of your posts. You have a keen insight into many issues,

  21. The COAF as a group is not politically motivated. Individual members have the right to be. Wasn't it a great Kick-off party for
SCOTT PARSONS Saturday night. Great turn out too !!! He'll be a welcome change to County Council. Less DRAMA and more productivity. A welcome change for sure.

  22. Is angle is looking for a way to resign from council into an admin position on Team Stoffa? So he doesn't loose in November?

    ReplyDelete
  23. It has be rumored that he is scrounging around looking for a way out. I do believe he sees the handwriting on the wall.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Expect anything, from any direction...Angle taking a Stoffa appointment over Gilbert, Angle showing up at the table with a sweetheart of a deal for the Unions....anything to either give Angle an out or to make him look good in a large way. Be prepared to show it for what it is.

  25. Did Mr. Angle set his attack dog B.O. upon Mr. Gilbert ?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Read Mr. Gilberts answers in the Express, than read the answers in the Morning Call it seems like two different stories. Can they both be right?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Maybe everyone should donate to Parson's campaign and finally once and for all rid us of Angle. Worth the money

  28. Might want to look at the committee before yesterday's council meeting, about 35 minutes into it stoffa is talking about downsizing gracedale.
