  1. Watch this clip earlier this morning on TV. What is it going to take to have a real investigation into what appears to be blatent curruption?

  2. it should be investigated throughly , i think the taxpayers did pay and everything should be done to get to the truth.

  3. It's amazing that the tv and newspapers give little coverage to possible illegal activity within our government and yet find a lot of room for rapes and murders and other crimes. Says a lot about what holds the interest of our society. It's well past time that the people in our county WAKE UP and demand an investigation into how our tax dollars are used.

  4. I think rapes and murders take precedent over a Steve Barron concoction of government corruption.

Give baby stevey his binky back . He will hollar and hollar , louder and louder until he gets his way.

  5. FYI

Ohare had his truck vandalized, he is just stopping short of accusing someone from the pro Gracedale movement. The problem is it happened. It could be random, it could be planned. I hope they catch the people responsible, I also hope it is someone else he has managed to offend along the way and not someone from Gracedale.
He has a dilema he has enemies all over the valley. If I were investigating I would start with his family, they might harbor ill feelings towards him for tainting the family name. Then I'd look at him, he might have done it to his own truck in some prezel logic plan. Actually someone over there accused Justice.
I hope there is a quick resolution.

  6. I think Steve Barron does a good job and although he is put down all the time by Mr. Angle and Bernie. He will be getting my vote in the November election unlike Mr. Angle. Keep up the good work Steve most Northampton County voters are thankful for the work you do.
P.S. a crime is a crime it might not be murder or rape but it's still wrong.

  7. Right. If Steve Barron were doing a good job he would have helped Gracedale three years ago. Sadly he is just jumping on the union bandwagon for votes. union folk tend to be slow and this kissing up is pure politics.

I hope you people have a back up plan that goes beyond Barron. He has established himself as the Democratic Angle in training.

    So much for heroes.

  8. Barron has audited and made tons of suggestions on Gracedale, the prison and several other county functions. He's saved the taxpayers millions. Sadly, Stoffa and Angle did not listen to his suggestions on Gracedale or we could have avoided this whole mess.

  9. Saturday's News Alert:
B./Thierry has written a letter to all the citizens in Angle's region in order for her to spread all the "TRUTHS" about this wonderful, caring, and tax saving person.
Hell, if I owned as much land and properties that he does, I'd be more than concerned about the taxes which might cost him one of his beach houses.
When he talks about his concerns for our elderly who have to eat beans every night for supper, do you really believe that he is fiscally conservative for them or for his materialistic assets, including his vacation homes.
Perhaps, he should sell some of his slumlord properties and give these people more to eat if he believes that they are starving.
I think that Uncle Jimmy would LOVE to visit one of these properties or even live with Mr. Angle with,of course ,some help from the new monies which he wants to give to the Agency On Aging.
I'll wager that Uncle Jimmy would never be invited home to live with Ronnie.
That's only good for OTHER people.
Unless, of course, there is something in it for him.
Angle can no longer fool all the people all of the time except for B.Thierry

  10. B. Thierry will not serve another term. She is just an action figure for angle. But that's OK -soon enough she can go fishing and golfing tith angle. Does she rmind you of the dogs in the car that bobbles the head? Thought she looked familiar.

  11. Wait until you read the Stoffa article in the Express Times tomorrow about why the taxpayers must vote NO on the Gracedale issue.
The biggest shock that I received is within one line he now is talking about a 30% raise in taxes if the voters say YES to Gracedale.
The sad thing is that the voters do not realize just how many times that figure has been changed every month since last August by not only Stoffa, but Angle and even the law biding blogger, Bernie O'Hare.
One would believe that the County Executive would inform all of us of the truth.
The truth of the matter is that it is his JOB to make it work, without raising taxes, if the citizens say YES.
After all, who gets paid to WORK on resolving county problems instead of inciting through messrs.Angle and O'Hare?
Stoffa's job is TO RESOLVE PROBLEMS,NOT TO CREATE MORE.
The unholy trio did not get their way,and now they are vengeful.

  12. I am so sick and tired of Stoffa. Everytime he opens his mouth the numbers change. He doesn't know the real numbers so he should just sit back and let the people decide. I don't think he is capable of doing his job anymore. To bad he can't go this year.

  13. Those who wish to save Gracedale are selfishly motivated. The shame of it all is the 6 million needed to balance the budget has nothing to do with patient care but bloated employee benefits that no one else gets anywhere. It aint about saving private Gracedal it`s about saving private union bloated benefits.

  14. COAF is anything but selfish. In fact, you may be correct;however, it takes 2 parties to negotiate a contract.
Our County Council and Mr. Stoffa with his administration (or even those before him) should by this time in their educated, public careers know how to say the word,NO!
We elected these people to do their job.
Stoffa and his group have been elected to do their JOBS.
If the people want to keep Gracedale in County hands, then they should make that happen without raising our taxes by a dime.
However, they have other plans. The union thing is nothing more than a ploy.
Stoffa does not want to negotiate. He and Angle blame the union.
Believe me when I tell you, our taxes are not going to be raised.
And, if they were, I personally have heard about 10 different numbers.Even our county government doesn't know what they are doing.
The story changes on an almost daily basis.
Therefore, when you want to blame somebody, blame the people who WE elected who cannot say NO .

  15. Now the number is up to a 30% tax increase? C'mon, stop insulting our intelligence and stop embellishing the figures to make your case look better Mr. Stoffa. Wouldn't a 30% increase result in a net collection amount of something like 100 million dollars over 5 years? For the first time I can say that I am disappointed.

  16. I THINK THAT PERHAPS IF A GIANT INFLATABLE RAT WAS LEFT AT HOME AND NOT DEPOSITED AT THE COURTHOUSE, THIS MATTER COULD HAVE BEEN RESOLVED LONG AGO.

THE PRIVATE COMPANY HAS OFFERED A GOOD PRICE WHILE AGREEING TO KEEP 85% INDIGENT POPULATION. THEY WILL CONTINUE TO HAVE A UNION THERE

THE UNION KNOWS THEY WILL NO LONGER BE SUPPORTED BY THE OPEN CHECKBOOK OF THE COUNTY TAXPAYERS, AND WILL HAVE TO COOPERATE WITH A PRIVATE COMPANY WHO CAN AND WILL YANK MERITLESS STAFF MEMBERS OUT THE DOOR.

WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD AND GET USED TO IT

    ReplyDelete
  17. If contractual negotiations and the fate of Gracedale depends upon an inflatable rat, then
the entire county is in trouble.
COME TO THE REAL WORLD AND GET USED TO IT,AND,BY THE WAY, LEAVE YOUR INFLATABLE TOYS AT HOME.

  18. Instead of adding bonusgate propaganda to the gracedale mess, the union should be assessing their bumping rights when mass layoffs occur in the near future.

Bernie O'Hare saved this county thousands of dollars by volunteering his own time to stand up for the election process and to draw attention to what a horrible joke the circulators made of our election laws.

I personally think tax money was well spent on the appeals, and am glad that Eckert Seamans got invloved and shared its info to produce a well written appeal.

My only regret is that the judges of the commonwealth court failed every single home rule county by stating that Gracedale does not extend to the budget, while also applauding the criminals who committed election fraud.

  19. Stop your nonsense bernie. You are all lying to THE PEOPLE. You want to know how WE THE PEOPLE know that? Because you continue to change your answers. Ask Morganelli, he tell you that anyone in his experience who changes their story is 99.9% of the time LYING. Team Angle/Stoffa/Oscare have done nothing but change your stories over and over.

Now you seem to envy COAF because they told the truth, and because they did they beat you, angle, and stoffa 4 times in court.

Now it's about pride, well listen up, they will beat again and again until you are no more. Bank on it.
