The Deceptions Are Real!

Over the last several years we have exposed the lies perpetrated by County Executive John Stoffa, OUSTED Councilmen  Ron Angle, and the nonsensical ignoramus Bernie O'Hare.

All three will claim they have never lied to the people of Northampton County, but we won't take their word for it, we will watch the council meeting video dated February 17, 2011. During that meeting it will be very evident that Stoffa-Gift is real. STOFFA-GIFT is not a figment of any ones imagination. It is indeed, very real. Click here to view "The Decievers"

To understand their deceptions we must go back to the days when they also told us over and over again, that to keep Gracedale in county hands taxes would have to be increased by 15-18-20, no, a whopping 30 percent before the vote. And what did we say?

What do we know today? That Lamont McClure and Steve Barron were correct - To keep Gracedale in county hands an increase of taxes was not necessary.

How do we know? Good question...because it hasn't happened to date.

When Mr. Angle suggested (as his so often did), that there were not five votes to increase taxes, he was right!

But the question that begs answering is: Why were their not five votes if it was actually necessary?

Simple!!! Because every councilperson knew that there was in fact 62 million dollars in reserves. And for political reasons, those funds would be tapped before anyone would vote for an increase in taxes. You see...they all knew it.

Ladies and gentlemen of Northampton County, taxpayers, electors...when we say they lied - we can back it up. When they say we lied, they are just blowing smoke. In fact, they are lying again.

COAF has never ever done anything more than stand up for the rights of the people of Northampton County, and especially those that pay the bills "Joe Taxpayer."

What we have been forced to endure in order to represent the folks of Northampton County (because they were not representing us) has at times been painful...but make no mistake about it - We would do all over again in a heart beat...because we believe in doing what's right all the time, not just when it's convenient.

WE THE PEOPLE have nothing to hide, and plenty to share! So we extend a challenge to Mr. Stoffa, Mr. Angle, and the nonsensical ignoramus - We will debate the issue(s) with them at a mutually convenient time and place (must be open to all county residents). All they have to do is say they agree, and WE THE PEOPLE will prove once and for all who the real liars are! 

It Starts At The Top!

First, let us be perfectly clear, we don't know James Onembo, and we don't know if he has done anything that requires investigation or not. We will not condemn nor defend him, we are certain he can do that himself.

What COAF knows is that Bernard V. O'Hare III is the biggest LIAR in all of Northampton County, and that is an established fact.

The nonsensical ignoramus says on his blog post "Time for Onembo to go" the following: "I am well aware that Onembo is the most powerful person in NC". Really? We thought County Executive John Stoffa is the most powerful person in Northampton County! Why doesn't he mention Stoffa?

Listen to what else he says: "I also believe that using county employees to conduct his personal business is inappropriate." Really?? Then why haven't you spoken up against John Stoffa? Oh, that's right...You won't speak out against Stoffa because you benefitted from Stoffa-Gift, John stoffas misuse of tax resources.

O'Hare continues his attack on Onembo saying: "He has hurt many good people and needs to be held accountable." REALLY???

Ron Angle, John Stoffa, and Bernie O'Hare Plotting!

Well In our opinion (and we have been saying so for a long while now), County Executive John Stoffa's MISUSED TAX RESOURCES is very much like Justice Orie Melvin's, but he is not being held accountable for it...WHY NOT Bernie?

And whenever anyone says anything against Stoffa you spring into action to cover up for him...you unleash your vile attacks on people until they go away. Well, as you can tell by now, we're not going away regardless what you say Bernie. And we won't use your terminology, but we will say: WE DONT CARE WHAT LIES YOU SPREAD ABOUT US - WE WILL CONTINUE TO TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT YOU, STOFFA and ANGLE, until none of you are seen as a threat to anyone in our County ever again!!!

And again we say, we don't know  if Onembo has done anything wrong - but, we do know that John Stoffa has.

Unlike Onembo, Stoffa is an elected official who is supposed to be held to a higher standard - Because he is elected.

Stoffa has violated the peoples trust - The very people who elected him. He has misused tax resources and there is plenty of evidence to prove it. If District Attorney John Morganelli is going to go on record with Mr. Onembo, then we believe he should also go on John Stoffa, who in our opinion has done something far worst than anything anyone else has done...He misused our tax resources.

Why is Bernie so viciously seeking to destroy Mr. Onembo? Well, there are many reasons we can suspect, but in his post he outlines one himself saying: "Some think he played a role in getting rid of Angle, too." There's your answer!

Remember his friend the ousted Councilman Ron Angle. Well he seems to believe that Mr. Onembo was at fault for his removal...that's because Bernie is not the sharpest tool in the shed. He call us stupid but, our stupidity trumps his intelligence any day of the week - He forgot that it was We The People...We are responsible for ousting Angle.

We used our powerful VOTE to discard the miscreant Angle! Not Mr. Onembo, although his vote may have help us too.

It is becoming quite obvious that there is much going on in the Northampton County local government...but remember - It starts at the very top with John Stoffa!

We The People will continue to exercise our right to remove all who fail our trust...trust us on that. 

What Did He Say???

Bernard O'Hare said that: "Exec John Stoffa speaks quietly and carries a big checkbook".

What O'Hare failed to mention is that the check book belongs to the taxpayers of Northampton. As it now appears, he will continue to squander our tax resources however he can as he did in Stoffa-Gift where he used tax dollars to sue the taxpayers.

The current concern for most of the taxpayers of NorCo is that Mr. Stoffa is going to WASTE our tax resources on things that matter least before he makes his grand exit.


Now he wants to put Central Park in the Lehigh valley...right, how much of our hard-earned money will he waste on such a project, and why would he want to do that in these hard economic times?


Right now what the Valley needs is more jobs, and less waste.

The elections can't come fast enough, and in the mean time we must continue to endure the wasteful "MISUSE" spending of John Stoffa. Hopefully the County Council will not approve any foolish spending. but four out of the five running are not seeking re-election (obviously they understand they won't win), so it is definitely possible that they will let John Stoffa do whatever he wants to, and they can all leave us, the new Exec, and Council, a financial mess to contend with.

For this reason we must select the best of the best out there.

Is He Really Ready...

...To lead Northampton County forward?

Yes - We know he is!

How so? Well, the proof is always in the pudding, right?...Yes it is.

Councilman McClure has ALWAYS represented Gracedale and Northampton County, not with lip service, but with grounded action. He considers all matters carefully and is not afraid to stand up alone (if necessary) to serve his constituents, and in our opinion, he serves us well.

There are many haters out there that will sling mud at Mr. McClure because he has been so successful in his leadership style - And because mud is all they have to sling, there's nothing else.

Some out there say that COAF only supports him because he always tells us what we want to hear, but that simply isn't true. We didn't agree with Mr. McClure when he stated publically that he does not believe Mr. Stoffa's misuse of tax resources is criminal...we on the other hand do believe it is criminal! Especially in light of all the recent criminal cases against public officials like Justice Melvin, who currently faces incarceration. We feel that eventually we will make our case before the correct authority and John Stoffa will have to answer for (Stoffa-Gift) his misdeeds.

However, we still support Mr. McClure even if we did not agree with him on the Soffa-Gift issue because we know that we are not all going to agree 100% on everything. However, Mr. McClure at least takes a stand and expresses his views eloquently (regardless if we agree or not), without chastising us, and we respect that.

We also believe that as County Executive he will most certainly lead the County in a positive direction, the way no other Executive has in a long, long time. And they way no other candidate can today.

A Prayer For Bernie...

...For a moment I will take off my armor of God...to say a prayer for he who considers himself my enemy...

Oh heavenly Father, I come to you today in prayer, not for myself, but for my brother in Christ Bernie...even if he doesn't see himself as such - I do.

Lord, Bernie has been lost all of his life as was I, but you shone your light that I may see it, and witnessing your love firsthand has transformed my life in ways that Bernie cannot fathom...please do the same for him.

I battle him in your name Lord, to further your kingdom, but I also love him in your name as you command.

I intercede on his behalf Lord, asking you to remove the scales from his eyes that he may see you as I have...let him see that Love is always greater than Hate!

Please remove his stone black heart and replace it with one that will be soft and gentle without hate or hostility; one which is at peace and recognizes you for who you are -  The great "I AM" almighty.

Help him understands that one day soon you will put an end to all this madness. And that he could be part of your family, or perish forever, the choice is his. Help him discover you Lord before it is too late.

In the glorious name of Jesus I pray...Amen


Now, I don my armor of God again...to help protect the innocent of Northampton County,  and the widows and orphans of Gracedale.

The Controller is Visible!

The Honorable County Controller Stephen Barron has provided the Morning Call a response to Bill Whites negative column, and they have published it:
The Visible and Transparent Controller.

We The People see Mr. Barron as an "Honorable and Honest" servant of the County, who's wife and children can be very proud of the service he is providing to the entire County - And YES...It is our opinion (COAF) that Mr. Barron knows what he is talking about...and Mr. White does not.

To date, Mr. Barron has provided accurate information that has proven itself to be accurate and true! History is the evidence.

Mr. White on the other hand, has aligned himself with the greatest deceivers Northampton County has ever had the displeasure to know, County Executive John Stoffa, the ousted Ron Angle, and the meaningless Bernard O'Hare III. Hence, he too is now viewed as a deceiver attempting to use his position as a reporter to make the news - instead of reporting it.

"Mr. White is entitled to his opinion, but I and many of those I represent would have to disagree that the quality most needed in a Controller is invisibility.

The citizens of Northampton County elected me to be their fiscal voice, often times that puts me at odds with the County Executive or members of Council.

I ran for office because I have opinions and I am entitled to speak them. This is especially true when the finances of the county are used to advance policy positions.

If the framers of the Northampton County Home Rule charter wanted an invisible controller or rubber stamp, he or she would have been appointed. But the framers made the Controller elected, so I must assume opinions were expected.

 

I was not elected by the citizens of Northampton County to be invisible.

 

When the County Executive proposed a tax increase in the 2011 budget, I presented sound fiscal advice to show a tax increase was not necessary. The council agreed and today we have one of the most fiscally sound governments in the Commonwealth and did not need to raise taxes to do it.

 

When the County Executive wanted to pay Bank of America a $27 million dollar ransom to end the swaption, I argued against the payment. Working with council we were able to pay $9 million dollars less than what had been demanded.

 

When the County Executive and some on council wanted to sell Gracedale, I questioned the financial justifications for the sale. I told council and the voters that the numbers presented to them simply did not add up. As the Controller, I was the only county official able to explain the fiscal ramification of a sale.

 

All of these positions stood in contrast to the positions of other elected officials, all required asserting an opinion and ultimately all of these positions were grounded in the numbers.  Today we know we did not need a tax increase in 2011, we saved $9 million dollars on the swaption and it was not necessary to sell Gracedale. Had my main goal been invisibility, none of this this might have happened.

 

I have done my job these last five years, which often involves having opinions about issues facing the county, and, in doing so, I have saved the taxpayers millions.  My office and I accomplished these things through hard work, critical analysis, presentation of the facts and working to make our recommendations a reality.

 

You do not hold elected office to be invisible, you hold elected office to accomplish something for the people you represent.  I am proud of what I have been able to accomplish as Controller and do not regret my opinions as a person or official."

Mr. Stoffa simply has his own agenda to destroy Mr. Barron because the Controller has exposed the Truth about John Stoffa's MISUSE OF TAX RESOURECES...And Mr. White won't address that issue in his column!!!

Stephen Barron is a Controller we can all count on and be proud of.

Connect The Dots!

Bernard O'Hare has literary gone bonkers because we challenged Bill White's attack of Controller Barron. WOW, he's crying like a little girl! He has been using his hate blog for many years to destroy anyone he and his allies see fit to destroy. But, develop another site to counter his deceptions with the truth and what happens? He goes nuts. Someone said they heard howling in Nazareth last night. Call out animal control there is a beast on the loose!

Now come on folks - In our opinion, this entire mockery was engineered by John Stoffa to take our focus off of his misuse of tax resources matter, but it's not working. Think about it, nothing he has tried against COAF has worked, why else would our friend Bernie be so upset. Bill White is not as upset as our friend Bernie! Why is that?

But to make the point - NO, we have not given up on STOFFA-GIFT! That will be dealt with in due time regardless of how much mud they sling at us.

Take note that Mr. White has been criticized far worst by others and he knows it, just do a search on the internet...you'll see we're right. Well, if you connect the dots you will also see there is a circus in town, and the ring master is none other than our County Executive John Stoffa. He tells the clowns what to do and say - and they do and say what he wants.

But our friend Bernie has never been so upset in his lonesome life, one can see the tears welling up in his eyes...why do you think that is? He appears heartbroken. But why?

We believe it's because he is losing much of the CONTROL that he enjoys at the courthouse. That thought has caused him to loose control of his emotions spiraling him out of control. Oh NO!!!

There will soon be a new management team in town (the Courthouse) and he knows it. He also knows that when that happens he will have to follow the same rules that everyone else follows. That will be a NEW DAY in Northampton County...We can't wait!
