Does Might Make Right?

Absolutely not, although some social misfits like Angle and Stoffa might think so.

Who could have ever imagined Stoffa saying that he could do anything and everything to sell Gracedale. NorCo, please consider that without any definition - ANYTHING and EVERYTHING means that there are no boundaries or restrictions, and no boundaries or restrictions means that he could do whatever he wishes and no one can stop him. In essence, he said that the only rule that applies to him and his administration is NO RULES. Is he going insane?

Next he'll tell us that might makes right...not so fast Stoffa - history testifies that when might makes right The People usually find themselves oppressed, and in many cases crushed by their government. Is that what you would like to see happen here in Northampton County Mr. Stoffa? Well, we don’t think so.

WE THE PEOPLE are about to clean house at the polls starting with Angle, so please don’t force another petition because you already know what we “HELLBENT People” can do.

You know what we find sad John, that we trusted you. We truly, truly trusted you, and you betrayed that trust. You know, and we know too John that you intentionally deceived us. Do you know why we trusted you John? Because we did not vision you as a duplicitous person…boy you really fooled us – but that’s okay, we know the truth now and we will never again trust you. NEVER!

  2. Stay tuned. I believe Coalition attorney Lawrence M. Otter will be seeking justice in a court of law. County Controller Steve Barron has the power to bring a surcharge suit against Mr. Stoffa to pay the money back. This is just starting to heat up !

  3. STOFFA SHOULD HAVE TO PAY THE MONEY BACK FOR HIS LIDAGATIONS.COUNCIL TOOK A VOTE WHICH RECOMMENDED HE HALT THE CASE AND HE REFUSED.WHY SHOULD OUR TAX DOLLARS GO FOR A CASE WHICH STOFFA REFUSED TO STOP.IT WAS HIS PERSONAL VENDEDA SO LET THE MONEY COME FROM HIS POCKET NOT OURS.MANY OF THE TAXPAYERS SIGNED THOSE PETITIONS SAYING THEY WANTED TO VOTE ON THIS ISSUE IN MAY.STOFFA,ANGLE AND BERNIE WANT ALL THE MONEY THEY CAN GET FROM THE TAXPAYERS.AND THEY HAVE THE GAUL TO EVEN SUGGEST THAT TAXES SHOULD GO UP TO PAY FOR GRACEDALE.WELL SOMEONE SHOULD GIVE A TRUE FACT OF HOW MUCH IT WOULD BRING IN. OH YES DID ANYONE VOTE TO HAVE ALL THE RENOVATIONS DONE TO THE COURT HOUSE/ POOR JUDGEMENT ON THE PARKING GARAGE FOR THE COURT HOUSE, OF COURSE WE NEED MONEY TO COVER UP THAT BOTCHED JOB.ISNT NICE OF US TAXPAYERS TO FORK OUT SO STOFFA,ANGLE ,AND OF COURSE THE BERNIE SLOB CAN USE THE BEAUTIFUL MARBLE PALACE.

  5. If you have been following this absurdity about how The Unholy Trinity has been changing their story about Gracedale since August, you'd be surprised.
Oh, how Angle and Stoffa wanted to bring in a new and highly qualified management team for Gracedale. After hearing this from these 2 officials and NORCO's Official Blogger since August, I now read in Sat.' Express that Mr. Stoffa has once again changed his mind. He now does not believe that John The Baptist could turn Gracedale around.
The public has no idea just how many changes have been made up by this group of THREE.
And ,how about negotiations, Angle was the one wanting to always negotiate, but the unions were always doing something incorrectly. Only to find out months later that Stoffa is the one who decides when ,where, and with whom to negotiate not Angle.
It is so obvious just how much these two are lying to the public.
It's too bad enough people have not had the opportunity from the beginning to hear what was really said. Then they would know just how much "goings on" are really happening with this small group of officials.
Angle wants to have meetings because he cannot lose on anything. It's like he loves to file suits against people and appeal them to a point where the other party can no longer afford to pay.
If there is one thing in this world that Angle really cares about it is RONNIE.
If he loses his personal battle with Gracedale,he stands a good chance of losing his seat.
Last year at this same time, who would have thought that a small group of citizens could bring the almighty Angle to his feet.
He should lose a few battles, perhaps he might turn out to be a bit more humble and treat people with respect.
IT IS TIME TO CLEAN HOUSE..

  6. Hey Berrnie Brenda, the residents lose if it is closed. If it is closed with the license pulled, it will make a nice hotel.

  7. Hi Brenda,
I am not so sure that there should be any talk about losing. For when one of our indigent citizens lose, we all lose. And when your money runs out, YOU lose.
Our government should not be fighting and suing its own constituency.
Soffa, Angle, and anyother menber of the Council should have brought people into the discussion from the very beginning. By using this form of leadership, the desire to open discussions for learning purposes, this entire matter would have had a realistic, truthful, and beneficial outcome for the entire community.
This complete lack in allowing people to enter into informative and productive discussion has resulted in our local government fighting the people. How about an example? 1776!
Even the call to privatize the aircontrollers is being contested because there are certain aspects of our society which should not, perhaps, be privatized.
Aircontrollers can fall asleep whether they work for the private or public sector.
Clearly, Stoffa and Angle have not only chosen the wrong issue, but they didn't plan the correct stategies in order to educate the public.
    Remember, let them eat cake?
In conclusion, review and open your mind to free and open discussion without the fear of being intimidated. You might begin to see through this scam which is being forced upon the electorate of Northampton County.
Then you might change your mind about who is the loser.

  8. Hey Brenda, how stupid do you believe the people to be? We know its you bernie. is brenda your feminin side? 9. The evil trio tell so many lies to so many different people they can no longer keep their stories straight. Each time they open their mouths a different angle (pun intended) spews forth. In the end the people and the legal system will have the final say! I would gladly pay myself for their orange jumpsuits.

  11. Everyone take the time to attend one of Ron Angle's Meetings. He is planning to try to convince the public why it is necessary to sell Gracedale and what will happen if voters vote to prevent the sale in May.

Monday April 25, at 7pm at the Beehive Community Center 197 Pennsylvania Ave. Bangor, Pa.

Tuesday May 3, At 7pm at the Leigh Township Fire Co. Banquet Hall, 4188 Leigh Dr., Cherryville, Pa.

Thursday May 12, at 7pm @ Bushkill Township Volunteer Fire Co.155 Firehouse lane, Bushkill Township,Pa.

These meetings will provide mis-information and if you watch closely you may be able to see Angle's nose grow.

He is not interested in the taxpayers or the care of the elderly. It's election time and he is trying to save his position on County Council. He will say/do whatever it takes to achieve his personal goals.

Go to these meetings and ask questions. Make him explain why Stoffa has not implemented ANY of the measures recommended in a report that cost the taxpayers $18,000. These changes would have increased revenue potential for Gracedale.

Ask him how he can absolutely assure that the care will be as good or better if Gracedale is privatized.

Ask him why it's necessary for the 20% tax increase that he threatens if it will generate 16 million dollars and Gracdale needs 6 million .What will they do with the extra 10 million.

Ask him if he believes people should be cared for in their homes rather than in a facility why is his relative in Gracedale?

Ask him why Stoffa has not negotiated with the two unions when they have repeatedly said they would be willing to do the give-backs county wanted?

There are many questions that have not been adequately answered--Go to one of his meetings and see what he'll tell you.

  12. Why all this talk about losing?
I realize that the actual rebirth of Gracedale is the ultimate objective;however, COAF fought City Hall and WON.
Now the second phase has begun. For open minds, the truth can easily be recognized.
After a successful election, then the third and final step MUST take place.Namely, the citizens have to elect a new group of county council members with a new and honest broom in order to clean house.
More individuals ought to learn more about their local government. If you do not like what you see in Washington, guess where it all begins. If you have not taken a good look and LISTEN to what our elected officials have been saying and doing, our future looks bleak.
However, if one takes an interest, we can, with determination, reverse things very quickly.
And, by the way, does our county need a supposed
    official blogger?
If you really want a big surprise, start to take your first peek by FOLLOWING THE MONEY!

  13. If we have 9 members of Council why is there only one member pushing to sell Gracedale? This member is the invisable one at counsel meetings, he sits back out of camera view, you should see his expressions and the shades of RED his face gets when he does not like something. These meetings are on the county web site, watch them or better yet come to counsel meetings, April 28 Counsel Chambers 3 floor 6:30 PM. Hope to see you there.

  14. The red faced - The Scarlet A - does not want to have the entire County see how and what he really says.
He cannot lose anything. Look at what he does to his tenents;look what he has done to members of his own family;look at the many different versions of the Gracedale Saga.
He will lie, change stories, and maybe even be involved with alleged wrong doings with OUR money.
I cannot believe that this "power hungry soul"
could not lead and find a way to reorgaize a money making Gracedale.
After all, he always says that he would LOVE to find a way to SAVE GRACEDALE.
What a crock. Now that it is on the ballot, why isn't he still preaching this same story which, by the way, has changed many times over since August.

  15. Dowd was in the paper today saying he wants to keep Gracedale. Didn't he vote yes on all the different proposals to sell the place? Talk about someones nose growing when they speak. He is up for re-election and has a challenger from within the party, he who says he would never vote to sell Gracedale. I encourage all of you who might be registered Republicans in District 2 to vote for his challenger. I am in Angles district or I would have changed to Republican just for this primary. That may be an option for registered Democrats , contact the elections office and see if you change change your party affiliation before the election. Then vote for Dowds challenger in the primary. Hopefully hes' gone for the general.
