Some Wonder?

...Where is God in all of this.

I have been in prayer seeking His TRUTH...and the truth is, it seems easier today to blame God rather than take responsibility for our actions. You know, we push Him away...and then in arrogance we dare  ask where He's been when our flawed plan doesn't seem to work. 

How do we deal with our evil world? Well, some make the argument that guns don't kill people...people do. While others claim: we don't need a mag with thirty rounds of ammo in an assault weapon. And still others say: we don't need guns at all. Well - whats the truth?

Truth be told - in God's perfect world - you know...the one before the fall of mankind, we truly didn't need guns or any other type of weapon for any purpose. But after the fall, the new wicked and evil mankind invented guns for a single purpose - to displease our loving God. So we fast forward to the present where we discover, displeasing Him is but an understatement!

Evil mankind with black hearts of stone...how sad what we've become!

Evil is contrary to LIVE, and came about as a result of SIN.

An unfortunate actuality in today's world no matter where in it you go, is just how callus we as a nation (without God) have become.


On April 19th, 1995 - Timothy McVeigh didn't use a gun...but he was successful in killing 168 Human Beings, wounding more than 500 others.


On April 20, 1999, in the suburban town of Littleton, Colorado, two high-school seniors, Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris, enacted an all-out assault on Columbine High School during the middle of the school day. Shooting guns and throwing bombs, the two youngster walked the hallways and killed.

And what about the more recent mass shooting at a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises in Aurora, Colorado, which left at least twelve people dead and 58 wounded.


 And let us not forget about 911 - which claimed three thousand (3000) lives...at least!

Just to name a few!

The amount of crime that goes on in our country and in this world is not in line with light, but with darkness. Not with good, but certainly with EVIL.

Yes...you can take away all the guns, then all the knives, then all the baseball bats and hammers too!!! But not to worry - we will in any event find some way to destroy what God has lovingly created.

Yes - I have been in prayer. But not just for those in Newtown, but also for the world. Praying for - and against all the Bernard O'Hare's, the Ron Angle's, and all the John Stoffa's of the world, whom by their poor evil examples influence the world into a life of corruption with a passion for hate!

Many will say - take away all their guns... Oh yes...ban ban ban - all of their guns. Take away yet another right on our path to becoming a police state!

What they certainly won't say is that we are breeding a violent culture! And they won't say ban the VIOLENT video games that many respected psychologist refer to as a direct cause to the madness we are witnessing in the world. Why not?...because of the money being generated.

They won't say ban the nudity on the TV and the movies which exemplifies immoral behavior. Or the pornography on the Internet that leads to rape and the corruption of our very children. Why not?...because of the money being generated.

Give them condoms says our governing system, we can prevent so much with condoms, instead of promoting good morals and values like abstinence.

It seems they have taken away the parenting rights of the parents, who should be the responsible adults providing (when they feel the time is right) the necessary sexual education that our children require. Just imagine your 13 year old daughter coming home from school with condoms! What's the message the child receives? It's okay to have sex - just make sure it's protected sex.

They relaxed the laws that once prohibited the profane and perverted music on the radio, you know...the new norm in FREEDOM of SPEECH. No, they won't admit that those evil elements have anything to do with the state of affairs in our once great America.

Well, once again ladies and gentlemen of NorCo, I will wear my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on my sleeve, for I am not ashamed of the Gospel, even at the risk of persecution...

...Why? Because He is my Lord - The one for whom nothing is too hard.

I know him to be the shepherd and the door, and is always the good news to the bound and to the poor.

He's the one who saved Gracedale, using followers who with Him on their side would never fail.

He is the righteous one who paid the ultimate price for our transgressions. The Lamb that appeared in the bush for Abraham.

He's the only redeemer - the beginning and the end.

No matter the hardship, no matter the strife...Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.

To prove He loves us , He chose to die, and became our best friend, never asking why?

He is the bread, and He is the wine - He is the future that we may leave our past behind.

He is Jehovah, the King of all Kings. He is the Messiah, King David's offspring.

He is the Resurrection, and He is the Christ...who paid for our sins with His very own life.

Let us turn back to Him, that we may receive his gifts of peace and eternal life.

May the true Joy and Peace of Christmas return to us all in this very trying time.

A Tirbute To The Innocent...

...Who lost the their lives at Sandy Hook, Newtown, CT.

There are no words that can be used to truly comfort the devastated hearts of family members of the children and adults lost during a young mans moment of madness.

I cannot imagine the pain of such a lost, so sudden, and so tragic.

All I can do at a moment like this is pray and share Jesus.

John 3:16 tells us - For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that all who believe in Him shall not parish, but have eternal life.

I thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for giving his life, that we may all live in him.

I trust the victimized children are now in the loving arms of Jesus. And I hope and pray the adults are as well.

Scripture tells us: And He called a child to Himself and set him before them, and said, "Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 18:2-3)

Then some children were brought to Him so that He might lay His hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, "Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." (Matthew 19:13-14)

There are no easy answers to such a horrific event...and only Jesus can truly heal the pain. Seek him first, and you can know that he will not forsake the children, and he will not forsake you...who trust in Him. Amen.

Thank you Jim!!!

In our continued efforts to establish that Gracedale can sustain itself, we have possibly been remiss in giving thanks where thanks are deserved.

Jim Irwin, the current AFSCME union Vice President did all he could do after Hector Rivera (the union president then) conceded in September of 2010 that Gracedale would be sold. 

While the Coalition never lost hope (nor an once of faith that Gracedale would survive the senseless attacks), it became apparent to us that Hector had.

The Coalition understood then - and certainly we understand today that Hector was looking at the magnitude of the job at hand, as well as who we were up against. And he probably said to himself...this just can't be done!!! We could not, and did not blame him, because there were many others who also gave up the fight as well.

Yes...it was a tough assignment. But if his vision was better, he would have seen what Angle, Stoffa, and O'Hare could not see in the dark - that COAF's resolve was greater than they could have ever imagined. And he failed to hear our spokesperson fearlessly proclaiming - With God on our side no one could stand against us. But Jim saw it...and Jim heard it!

We did not despair? No, because Jim (not serving as vice-president yet) was able and willing to step right in (along with Ellen Weise) and lead his work-mates into action, leading them in the direction of the Coalition. Whom acting on behalf We The People, put all wheels in motion to take Gracedale out of harms way and into a safe zone.

Jim really made himself available to us in a manner which lightened our load, making our situation easier, and for that we are grateful and thankful.

In COAF's opinion, Gracedale employees should all be proud of their new leader - Jim Irwin. And should realize that they owe him a debt of gratitude. Because when Hector made the decision to give up, Jim made the decision to step up. And that ladies and gents is the difference between being a true leader...and wanna-be leader, you  know - like Stoffa. 

To the Coalition - Jim made a world of a difference!

Thank you so much Jim for being there when Gracedale, and We The People needed you.

What Does He Know?

During this years "last" Council meeting yesterday afternoon, County Executive John Stoffa said: "If we don't do this, I don't know what we will do". He was talking about wasting more of our tax dollars.

Our executive as a supposed-to-be leader has demonstrated incompetence of the highest levels. From true leaders you will never hear such vulgar words, and we don't mean indecent, we mean offensive.

Consider Gen. Lewis B. (Chesty) Puller surrounded by by 22 enemy divisions (that's 16,500 enemy men x22) Chesty didn't say: "I don't know what we will do". No, his now famous words instead were: "Men - they are in front of us, behind us, and we are flanked on both sides by an enemy that outnumbers us 21:1. They can't get away from us now".

As history teaches us, Chesty and his motivated Marines made it out destroying 7 entire enemy divisions in the process.

You will not find anywhere in our history books a true leader say: "I don't know what we will do". So we know that our executive is no leader - he's a wanna-be.

Sad, because it is quite apparent that he's turned on the auto pilot for his last year, hoping to make it out too. But unlike Chesty, he doesn't have a division of motivated Marines. What he does have is a number of deserters. Why does his cabinet continue to run? Well, perhaps because they don't want to go down with the plane when it runs out of fuel...and it will.

Our concern now is that John Stoffa with all his unnecessary expenditures will intentionally break our county financially...And then before he leaves office he will say: I told you that we had to raise taxes if we kept Gracedale, you didn't listen, and see what happened. I told you!...I told you!

What he won't say is: I'm incompetent, and we're broke because I didn't know what to do.

That's okay John, in the musical West Side Story they sang a song with the lyrics "Somethings coming, I don't know, what it is, but I know, it's gonna be GREAT".

Your resignation or your removal by the proper Authorities John...

...it's gonna be great.
 

Let The People Decide!

Politicians who generally speaking don't like referendum questions on ballots, usually have self serving schedules...Not We The People agendas.

That is why County Executive John Stoffa (who is all about himself) is so adamant in keeping the system the way it is. How many of his cronies will be in line for his position?

In We The People's opinion, the bi-partisan proposal by Councilmen Ken Kraft and Tom Dietrich relating row offices being elected as opposed to appointed is an excellent proposal.

Why so? Some like Stoffa may ask...Because We The People are not idiots. We know how to push the buttons and pull the lever. We also know who we want to be in elected seats as opposed to having someone shovel appointed choices down our throats.

Our question is: Why wouldn't council pass a bill that has DEMOCRACY written all over it? When this question arises in tonight's County Council meeting...We The People will be watching the council vote closely. We know that Barbara Thiery and Bruce Gilbert will most likely vote against the bill for two reasons 1) they are Stoffa/Angle supporters 2) supposedly they will not be attempting re-election so they have nothing to lose.

Well let's see if we can do the math - two support, two do not...that leaves five to make the decision; in favor or opposed. Again We The People say: we will be watching closely. Of the remaining five, three are up for re-election next year.

Some may argue that we are brow-beating Council (because that's a tactic they use), we say: we're doing no such a thing. We are merely expressing the truth. And the truth is in a democracy the voters decide. So while we can't effect immediate change with those on council not up for re-election next year, we can cause positive change for democracy with those that are.

Ladies and gentlemen of Council - this is an easy bill to decide. The way we see it is: if you vote in favor...you are voting for democracy - if you oppose the bill...you are opposing democracy.

To the three who's term is up we say:

Vote in favor of the bill, and we will vote for you...

...vote against it - And we will vote you OUT!!!

Professionalism Replaces Politics?

 What exactly does that mean?

Instead of being commended for working together, Council members Ken Kraft and Tom Dietrich are being attacked for proposing a bipartisan effort to bring about changes that will ALLOW the citizens of NorCo to select certain positions in government, instead of permitting Stoffa types to appoint their cronies.

He says: " Since 1978, when Northampton County's Home Rule Charter was adopted, the row officers are appointed positions. Professionalism replaced politics."

We The People say: There is absolutely no professionalism when  you're appointing your "crony" friends (or puppets), just hobnobbing. As far as We The People are concerned,  We The People should be making such appointments by the power of our votes. In so doing we have no complaint if we elect the wrong person (like electing Angle and Stoffa), but realizing the error we can correct it like we did with Angle, and like we're preparing to do with Stoffa.

Why Did They Leave?

Anyone who has witnessed the activities of County Executive John Stoffa will tell you he is less than honest, less than honorable, and less than desirable for the position he holds.

Interestingly enough, the nonsensical ignoramus posted this morning "NorCo Loses Second "Naughty Email" Unemployment Case", in which his says the following:

"John Stoffa has made a career working for the disadvantaged in Northampton and Lehigh County."

Considering the statement is accurate (we don't feel it is) The question we have to ask is: What disadvantaged? You see, Gracedale is the home of the widows and orphans, yes the true disadvantaged...And we have to make the point that John Stoffa clearly attempted to throw them under the bus by selling Gracedale?

He also says: "But this arbitrary and uncharacteristic termination, which follows quickly on the heels of a questionable appointment of a third floor pet to the Register of Wills, is exactly what happens when he loses good cabinet officials like John Conklin and Vic Mazziotti. It's no way for him to end his stewardship of Northampton County."

Which really doesn't make a whole lot of sense to us, perhaps because we know the TRUTH.

In our opinion, John Conklin left because he was being groomed to take the hit for Stoffa (you know, get thrown under the bus too), and Conklin recognized the reality and made his exit before such a thing could happen.

And Vic Mazziotti, another appointee that knew and understood all too well the truth, made the decision to run before he got caught up in the web that Stoffa weaves. 

You see ladies and gentlemen of NorCo, John Stoffa is the problem! On Business Matters our spokesperson told Ron Angle and John Stoffa that what our county needs to correct it's course is "NEW LEADERSHIP". And he told Angle right to his face that he was a poor leader and a poor business man, and that We The People would replace him. And we all know today that he was correct because Ron Angle is no more (except in his own mind). And John Stoffa sat there with a smile on his face failing to realize that the message applied to him as well. And that he too would be replaced if he decided to run again (which he has indicated he will not do).

What Stoffa couldn't see is what Conklin and Mazziotti saw - We The People are the BOSSES! And we are watching! And we're looking for the best of the best leaders to correct the wrong direction the USS NorCo is headed in.

We The People are seeking leaders with working moral compasses that point accurately to the TRUTH. Leaders who's objectives include helping those under them who are doing poorly to do well, and to help those under them who are doing well to do even better.

But John Stoffa does not understand that because he doesn't understand true leaders manage things and lead people. Management is about arranging and directing...Leadership is about nurturing and enhancing.

Take a lesson Mr. Stoffa - But before you do...

...Resign!

Stop embarrassing the County!!!

"The indictments last week by state Attorney General Tom Corbett of a sitting state lawmaker, one former lawmaker and 10 current and former Democratic House staffers may be just the tip of an iceberg, but "Bonusgate" already is the biggest corruption scandal in state government in memory."

 

We hope that STOFFAGATE doesn't surpass Bonusgate.

 

In Bonus gate it was clear that tax dollars were redirected for personal use. In Stoffagate the same is true.

 

If County Executive John Stoffa does not announce his resignation in a reasonable time frame (before this month is over)...We The People will have no alternative other than to pursue, for the 23,391 that supported us in our strife against our local governing body, the justice they deserve.

 

Do you really want to test our resolve again John?

 

COAF implored County Council on many occasions (and they know that's true - just watch on line) to allow the referendum question to go on the ballot, However, led by Ron Angle they defied the request. We said: okay, we have to do this the hard way, and so we did. What we did not know for sure was that John Stoffa was using our tax dollars to fight us...but we know for sure NOW!

 

We were deceived time and time again. Told that our tax dollars were never used to fight us...but Controller Stephen Barron verified the truth, our tax dollars had indeed been used.

Well, as far as We The People are concerned, either the Controller is misleading us, or the County executive is deceiving us. Our money is on STOFFA and Angle did divert our tax dollars to further and benefit their campaign to sell our beloved Gracedale.

 

Well, the truth is finally surfacing.

 

Resign John and lose your job...Fail to do so and you may lose your FREEDOM.

 

We implore you for the last time - RESIGN...or sleep in the bed you made.

What? He's Not Running?

While we feel Mayor Sal Panto is a good candidate for NorCo County Executive, we applaud him for choosing to do the right thing and continuing his service as Mayor of the City Of Easton.

Sal's right, when your constituents elect you it's not so that at the next open opportunity you can take off on them. Hats off to you Sal.

The MCall had a rather amusing and interesting statement as part of the Panto article.

It said: "Incumbent County Executive John Stoffa has said he does not plan to run for a third term." WOW...Really?

We find it amusing because unlike the honorable Mayor of Easton, Stoffa turned his back on us and doesn't stand a snowballs hope of freezing in an oven!

We find it interesting because instead of running for the seat, he should be running from it...RESIGN!!!

Just for fun John - Why don't you throw your hat into the arena, so that we can prove to you too that you don't stand a chance.

Witch Hunt?

We don't think so! And shouldn't it be Warlock? Or is there something we don't know about the "tres chiflados"

The Nonsensical Ignoramus would have everyone believe that he, along with his two poor (self serving) elected friends are just good people being hunted like rabid animals.

Well, there is nothing further from the truth. O'Hare is a "supreme court established" liar, known as a flip-flopper. What is that you ask? It is an individual who changes his minds (or who's mind is diverted by money or money fulfilling motives) on a regular basis depending on who can afford his garbage from one day to the next.

Take John Callahan for example. Last year O'hare shredded him to pieces on his blog. Yet, this year he thinks the world of Mr. Callahan, and can't say enough good things about him. Why? Well that is so simple to reveal. None of the possibles for County Executive who have announced their intentions will give O'Hare the time of day. But Callahan feels if you can't beat-em...Join-em. So he gets in bed with the self professing bottom feeder, possibly promising things like continued full access to the courthouse after the other John is gone.

The problem for Mr. Callahan is that his association with the fading O'Hare will definitely cost him any opportunity to capture the County Executive flag.

No reputable candidate today wants to be  anywhere near O'Hare. You know, it's like he is consistently expelling intestinal gas...away from me you bottom feeder, is what most say today!

Anyone who had the opportunity to witness O'Hare Crying during last Thursdays CC meeting (16:15 into the meeting) witnessed a so called WITCH that could not magic his thoughts together. He spoke like he was asking himself: WHAT AM I TALKING ABOUT? Hmmm-  oh yeah, the Rev. Mar...I mean the Fake Rev. OHHH...I hope someone out there cares about the nonsense spewing from my mouth.

Well Bernie, perhaps John Callahan does - But as for the rest of us, you can stop hoping because WE DON'T!!!

We The People want honest government. It means the world to us.
And we feel it is safe to say that anyone associated with known deceiver's like Ron Angle, John Stoffa, and Bernie O'Hare, who always seem to be lurking in corruption, must be corrupt too. So while once upon a time there may have been hope for you Mr. Callahan, that hope is fading fast! Just as fast as BO is fading. Good luck to you sir...You're gonna need it!

Peg spoke from her heart - feeling betrayed yet again, but by who? Well, we all know the answer to that question. First, and foremost by County Executive John Stoffa.

Mr. Stoffa, without a doubt deceived the Coalition of Alzheimer's families when he met with us during the onset of the referendum initiative drive. He encouraged us saying something to the effect: if you want to save Gracedale, go out and get the signatures. There are three witnesses who heard him, (and he knows it).

But that was because he never envisioned we would do it! And when we did...he chose instead to sue us in court. Before he lost...he PROMISED Peg that if he lost he would not appeal (because he didn't think he would lose), but when he lost he immediately appealed.

Peg, more than any other member of the Coalition was devastated. Not because he was appealing (we could all deal with that, no problem)...but because she TRUSTED him, and he lied to her...and to We The People once again.

After he lost the appeal, there was conversation during a CC Meeting in chambers about whether or not the county had paid Mark Stewert to coach Ron Angle and Bernard O'Hare in their PRIVATE litigation against the Coalition...Never said Angle, I'm un-coach-able! Never happened, said O'Hare - It never happened said John Stoffa.

The problem for the three is the memo from Controller Stephen Barron which clearly states...it did happen - Even if only for a second. It did happened. And according to the memo - it was more like 7,200 seconds. More or less does not matter. One second - is one second too much.

He Asked For It...

...So it should be!

Bernard O'Hare III while responding to the information provided by Controller Stephen Barron, appeared to melt down during the December 6, County Council meeting. He ultimately said "Let's do it! Lets have the district attorney look into it!". (County Council Meeting December 6, 2012. Start 9:10 into the meeting)

In essence he was asking County Council to have DA Morganelli launch an investigation into the matter regarding hours paid for with tax dollars to assist him and Ron Angle in their private litigation against We The People.

We find ourselves (for the first time) agreeing with O'hare. An investigation should be launched. However, we're not confident that the DA's office should be the one conducting such an investigation. We feel perhaps the Pennsylvania Department Of The Auditor Generals Office Of The Taxpayer Advocate should commence the investigation, or perhaps the State Attorney Generals office. All findings or results of such an investigation should thereafter be presented and released to the general public.

O'Hares deranged mind does not allow him to understand that there are laws which prohibit the use of tax dollars for personal/private use.

We The People believe that when County Executive John Stoffa authorized the use of funds and a firm (Eckard Siemens) hired to service the County, to also service two private citizens in a private litigation matter - state laws which prohibit such actions were broken. Which laws exactly? That will have to be determined by the investigation.

These three shenanigans (one of which is still in office, and one removed from office by the electors) have violated the trust of the people for far to long now.

We cannot, and must not allow this corruption to continue.

We The People will be  requesting County Council to turn this matter over to the appropriate office for investigation.

Our trust in Council is growing, and will grow greater if Council demands John Stoffas RESIGNATION. What Mr. Stoffa did can only be viewed as WRONG! To add insult to injury he said it never happened. Well, the proof is in the pudding!

We're not asking Council to commit a crime, on the contrary, we're asking that you correct one.
