Well, when you walk with Jesus, it is a prerequisite to forgive, and I dare say - that is the secret.
I have, just as many Christians have - struggled with this command from my Lord and Savior.
But my guiding light has been kind and gentle leading me to the true understanding that without forgiveness there is only slavery. We become bound with the ropes of hatred!
Instead, Jesus tells us to forgive when we rather seek revenge, to love when it feels better to hold resentment, to include when we'd rather avoid.
People like Ron Angle and Bernard O'Hare are not capable of understanding how it is possible that I believe my previous statement, but yet hit back so hard when I go on the offensive.
In order to clearly illustrate how it is possible, at the risk of offending some, I have to go to scripture.
Ephesians 6:13-17...Jesus tells me:
13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.So you see...it's not hard to understand that when you chose to serve the Lord - He chooses to provide you the protection you need to prevail in His name.
While it has never been my desire to offend or hurt anyone, in the mist of battle I will do what is necessary to further the Kingdom of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And anyone (like Bernie, who chooses to hurl flaming arrows at me) can say whatever they want to about me. Their puny insults can not penetrate my protection, because it is in Jesus that I take refuge.
Me? I choose to hurl back the TRUTH...It always seems to hurt more than deception ever will - Because TRUTH is always TRUE.
And the TRUTH is actually the greatest weapon in any ones arsenal...For no lie or liar can prevail against it. So, I certainly will continue to use it to fend off all enemies (foreign or domestic) of our County gem - Gracedale.

Too bad that the former clergyman on the Council as well as the Christian ministers who penned and signed a letter to sell Gracedale did not deomstrate the same Christan values.
ReplyDeleteThey were all lied to and believed blindly in the 3 evil ones.
Now that the truth is out, where are they?
If they are still preaching the Good Book, they had better not tell their congregations that they REFUSED to help the POOR,HELPLESS,and those who cannot act or speak for themselves.
These are probably the same ministers who cannot understand why America and our youth seem to becoming more secular.
Our young people can spot hypocracy better than a few of our politicians and clergy.
THANK YOU, COAF!
You did a very good job. Rememebr, we are known by our deeds, not our words. O'Hare would, and will consistently delete that phrase but that just shows what is important to him.
ReplyDeleteThe "Rev" that sat on council has all kinds of "certifications" and "degrees", yet he let the evil one berate, attack and lie to people without ever lifting a finger.
There are many in the community who understand what was, and is at stake. The pettition drive and the referendum vote proved that.
To this day, Stoffa, O'Hare and Angle try to pretend their lies are truth but most people know better.
That in and of itself was indeed a good deed.
Hang in there. Help is on the way next year.
