Taking Action

Donna Barney, a COAF member has been in communication with PP&L relating to the power outage at Gracedale. She was informed yesterday that Gracedale has been placed on the "critical" list. And she was promised that if power is not restored over night, someone from PP&L will contact her with a plan of action today. We thank Donna for her efforts, and we will keep the community up to date on this serious matter as the information is delivered to us.

  1. This outage has gone on too long. I've just spoken with the County Executive. I've asked him to press PPL to make resotration of power there a priority. Is it possible that PPL doesn't have as one of its protocols the restoration of power to hospitals and nursing homes first ?

  2. I am being told that there are "many lines down" around Gracedale, and that PPL has at least 3 trucks their working on the problem. Further, I'm being advised that power "should" be restored at Gracedale "this evening."

  4. Once agian the non-leadership of John Stoffa and Ross Marcus has caused a problem. Thank God the power is now on.

Everyone will be so happy when Stoffa is gone and Martcus gets that new patronage job.

  5. Lamont, are you or are you not running for County Execuitve? If we want to stop Callahan, you need to decide. Only one can take him on.
