  1. Cusick voted to sell Gracedale. Instead of being part of the solution; Cusick has decided he will be part of the problem.

  2. I don't beleive a word out of the mouths of John Stoffa and his puppet Ross Marcus. Marcus doesn't even know how to properly explain the difference between medicare and medicade and this guy runs the department. Any wonder why every area is overbudget and bleeding cash.

  3. If Premier can in fact turn in 1.7 million next year, then why is a 9.3% tax increase necessary? IT'S NOT! John Stoffa is the problem. I hope you people are for real about recalling him, I for one will help.

  4. Word on the street is, you forgot he has to pay for the drug lounge, do not use the surplus, tax the people more. they have to pay for the loan that is comming due in the near future. I wonder when they will repair the buildings they own? Or they going to let them fall apart like the Wolf Building, which one is next?

  5. Ask Cusick to support Gracedale ?

  6. Instead of Stoffa looking to help the people with the lowering of their taxes, he is now saying that you voted to keep GRACEDALE,so you pay for it.
What he should be saying if he cares about the people that he represents is that between what he can cut from the whole county budget, what the new management team can either cut or gain, and then some of the surplus should do the trick.
However,he is not that strong of a leader to approach this problem via being open with ideas from everyone.
I just hope that he doesn't allow Angle to stick his 2 cents into the picture. For if he does, his nightmare of the 3-1 victory and his vindictiveness will come streaming down upon him.
Be smart,John, and REPRESENT the majority of your people.

  7. Agreed. The people were sick and tired of Angle. That is why he is out!
If Stoffa isn't strong enough to be the boss, finally, then he is done also.

  8. Why not wait and see if Ron submits a budget as he indicated he would. Maybe as a going away present he will fashion an "I told you so" no increase proposal. He might also balk and keep it to himself to be spiteful.
The second option is more Angle than the first.

  9. Angle is still pulling Stoff's strings.Stoffa should be man enough to do his own job.
The job the people of Northampton voted on for him to do, Save Gracedale and make it better. Although Gracedale was doing fine till Stoffa and Angle decieded to make it look like it could not make ends meet so they could sell it.
Gracedale made money many years and nothing was ever put aside for repairs ect. instead it was used to cover other depts. in the county and this was admitted to me by Stoffa himself. Now that Gracedale needs help are these other depts. going to help ? No instead knock the workers there, and the unions when the other depts. in the county are union workers also, and their jobs a a heck of a lot less difficult then working with the elderly and sick.
If everyone gave up a little no one would hurt.
But I guess that will never happen.
Mr. Stoffa grow a set of feet and stand on your own.

  10. The word I am hearing is that Mr. Angle will indeed end up in the Stoffa Administration in the new year.

Not sure what position he will be given but the source is pretty good.

  11. Well if he is added to Stoffas' staff, Stoffa needs to go. What part of "Ron Be Gone" doesn't he understand?

  12. Don't forget, Stoffa was recruited, funded and directed by Ron Angle. John owes his political position to Angle.

I would like to add one thing that I hope the newspapers(read Joe Owens) reads. Ron Angle played the big "good government" watchdog during the Reibman Administration. He screamed about everything from the cost of floor tiles to the use of vacation time. When his boy Stoffa came in, Angle the bulldog went silent.

In the past he would scream at the other Human Services Director, who was trying to get mote money for his programs claiming mismanagement. In the past five years he has not said a word, even though the Department is millions over budget every year. Of course the past manager never tried to scapegoat Gracedale like this gang does.

The very thing that Angle bragged about himself changed. He is no longer the great watchdog, so who the Hell needs him. He complains about frauds and hypocrites but with the election of the Stoffa gang that is exactly what Ron Angle became. The unreported and behind the scenes nonsense of this Administration is sinful and Angle as well as Owens knows it.

Good to have low friends in high places.

  13. Angle could not be confirmed for any cabinet level position. If he gets a job, it will need to be one for which confirmation is not required. The four D's will be an absolute no, and my guess is Gilbert will be looking for a little pay back.

  14. Just be prepared to support our new council members during the next several months of meetings, and be prepared to support them at a meeting at a moments notice. The current system will strike back at them with a vengence and they will not be able to do it alone.

  15. 9:31 You forgot Peg for what angle called her, Tom for what angle and bo tried to do to him, Gilbert also,

  16. Compile a list of ALL of Angles private misdeeds involving finances and run-ins with the law. Read them off to council as a resident of the County. If Gilbert was unable to hold a position in Stoffas cabinet with his mild by comparrison rap sheet, how the H-E double hockey sticks could Angle pass muster.

  17. If Gilbert couldn't get a job because of his past how will Angle. You don't have to scroll to many google pages to get his history. Also whom ever votes him in will not retain there seat in the future. Angle lost his district by alot. If it were county wide it would have been worst. People are sick of him thats why he lost he needs to take his ball and go home. Northampton County Goverment is no place for him. If Stoffa puts him in start the recall I believe that action by Mr. Stoffa will allow you to get the signatures with out a problem. Thanks again for everything you have done.
