Well he appoligized it only took him how long. Also he appoligized, but still said it really wan't his fault for acting the way he was. When he gets passionate about something he has to be ejected. Hopeflly he never gets passionate about selling Gracedale.
I've contributed to John's political campaigns in the past and will again. I first heard about him a while back when, acting as newly elected Mayor of Bethlehem and on its behalf, he apologized to the partner and the family of a young man killed in a clumsy SWAT assault that was, according to the jury in a civil trial, a gross violation of the man's 4th Amendment rights. The events did not happen on John's watch but in my opinion he acted like a genuine leader.
An apology is easy to recognize. It includes the words "I am sorry" or "We are sorry." It signifies that the person/s apologizing is/are responsible for some injury, that it was avoidable, that the injured party is important, and that accepting the apology will be the beginning of a repaired relationship based on mutual respect.
John was wrong in his personal behavior, and he apologized. I wish more politicians were like him. Maybe we'd see a return to operative principles of respect that others seem so anxious to destroy.
Callahan did not want to apologize, that is obvious. He and his gang berated the offical. The Callahan gang is still doing so. His politcal handlers told him he must apologize and try to look like he means it. Just today it was said the guy was still saying he had nothing to apologize for. Of course he is now one of O'Hares mancrushes, so he will be covered on the hate blog.
The guy is an arrogant child sort of like A Democraic version of Ron Angle. A big mouthed petulent child with anger issues.
Where was Callahan on Gracedale ? He said it was not his problem. But where was he when he said he wanted to run for County EX? The place that was not his problem, Gracedale. What is his possion with the trades union working on projects in Bethlehemm . Not my problem, turned his back on them. Now he needs the help for his run, time to turn our back on him, not our problem. We want jobs that have a living wage . VOTE McCLURE FOR COUNTY EX.
Hey, I don't say John is perfect. But he's educable. He now is firmly in Gracedale's corner--thanks to the COAF! I don't think anybody will try to mess with you folks, Ha Ha! Best Wishes, Don Dal Maso
Word on the street is, the only one in our corner is, is, is, Lemont McClure the one that wants to save Gracedale is not looking for a job. He has one now, best choice for the COUNTY.
as a parent of kids who played lots of sports , i can see how john got emotional ,i really don't think it's that big of a deal we are all human and we all ocasionally slip and fall .... lets not judge ... i'm supporting lamont but lets not bash the other guy for being human...
Any word on the Bernie vs Mezza libel suit?
ReplyDeleteShe went away in hancuffs. Contempt of court.
ReplyDeleteDID SHE DENY IT?
Oh no. Has she been released? Is she ok? Has Alan Dershowitz been contacted for pro bono representation against this abuse?

ReplyDeleteAsk the fire fighters in Bethlehem what they think of him. Maybe he should apologize to them too.
