Dear Friends,

Why doesn’t John Callahan want to schedule another televised debate? My other opponent and I would welcome the opportunity continue to discuss the future of Northampton County and our visions to move the county forward, but Mr. Callahan can’t find time in the next two weeks to have that discussion.

Judging from his last debate performance on Business Matters he might want to clear a few things up for the voters.

We welcome as many debates as possible between now an the election the candidate views are clear to the voters. Sadly that is not the feelings of Mr. Callahan.

We believe it is clear from this video that I have the best plan to move Northampton County forward

I thank you for your support and continued support working to move Northampton County forward.

Don’t forget to vote Tuesday, May 21st.

Sincerely,

Lamont McClure

  1. I doubt that John Callahan is afraid to debate anyone. Just ask Bernie.

  2. You may doubt anything you please to, but if he refuses to debate, that means he's AFRAID to, wouldn't u agree?

  3. McClure and Reibman spoke at the Southside
Easton candidates night, Callahan bagged it and was a no-show,. No substitute or apology. Nice way to treat Easton.

    1. Says you.

He hasn't knocked on my door. None of us who live in Easton have seen him. The question for you since you know so much about him (I think your Bernie) is why doesn't Callahan want to debate on television. What is he so afraid of. Is he afraid of McClure and Reibman? Can you answer those questions for us please?

  5. What was Callahan doing? Letting Bernie suck his shirt sleeve?

  6. Your choices for County Council are good. However, I haven't heard any of them address any of the serious issues that need to be addressed. Therefore, they will fit right in with the present council, lol. Hopefully, in the fall, one of those five will open their mouths and give us some hint as to why they should be elected. Anytime now crew??

    1. Assuming u r Callahan, then why can't you find a date that is suitable and debate on television. In a three way race, which is reported to be very close by all, u will lose if you don't debate on tv.

  8. Hey anon 5:35, you should have been at the Easton Southside meeting. They all spoke and the COAF choice addressed the most important issues facing the county., It was obvious the two most knowledgeable people were Ron Heckman and Jerry Seyfried. I seriously doubt any of the executive candidates are going to fool either of them.
